The Quest for Certicfications

In a continuing effort to improve ourselves, add value to our employers, and an added cushion in the event of employment problems (yes, we've had two layoffs in our household (along with a number of bail-outs before problems came to a head and/or bankruptcy!)), we are starting to persue certifications from vendors we deal with on a regular basis.

At this point in time, Warren is looking at three different certifications -- Cisco Certified Network Associate, Oracle Certified Database Administrator, and Sun Certified System Administrator for the Solaris Operating Environment. Janet, however, is investigating only one at this point in time -- Hewlett-Packard System Administration.
